Camposaz In Town
10 years have passed, and in September Camposaz went back to our roots, doing what we do best, to celebrate with many of the wonderful people that have joined us along the way….
Connected to @SAZInTown, an iteration of the festival that gave us our name, we were based in the village of Tonadico once again, where it all began many moons ago. We were provided with our usual parameters of wood, time and a group of Camposazians. As well as this, though, we had another special requirement of our entire back catalog of over 50 projects that have been built between 2013 – 2023 in photo form to be displayed as an exhibition for the people of the festival to view, enjoy and laugh about as we have over the years.
The projects were organised into 6 groups of different themes that connected them, which would form individual islands dotted along the route for the exhibition: Wild, Play, Inside, Chill, Unity, Public. Each island was placed on the route and designed with the intention of evoking the theme of the group. A final special group was included for a special person who has been a continuous part of the Camposaz story.
After several days of exploring solutions, a method was devised to exhibit the displays that would tie all groups together. Over the course of the workshop fluid groups of people worked together piecing together each island. As the reunion came closer more people arrived with the groups getting gradually bigger until the end when the memories and celebrations began.

Thanks to
Thanks to all the Camposazians who reached the anniversary party from all over the world, bringing with them stories, families and memories! Thank you for the infinite tent camp, for the very long tables together, for the wood stolen here and there, for the baths in the river, the night music, for the gathering around the warmest bonfire ever!
.
The biggest thanks goes to our mentor, to our guide and friend Claudio Moz (who will never see this post because he is above the dynamics of social media) A big hug Claudio, your ‘fulminati’ Camposaz family!!
